LAMDA Musical Theatre Exams

LAMDA is suitable for ages 7+ and it will assess students' ability to:
   
Perform songs from musical theatre repertoire.
Act through song, showing emotional and narrative understanding.
Interpret character and context.
In higher grades, also demonstrate students' knowledge of the material and its background.

GRADES 1 - 4

Performers will:

  • Build confidence

  • Improve speaking and expression

  • Learn fun monologues and scripts

  • ​A great foundation for any future stage star.

GRADES 5 - 8

Performers will:

  • Explore deeper characters and scripts

  • Master voice, clarity, and expression

  • Gain UCAS points with LAMDA's higher grades

  • Prepare for drama schools
