LAMDA

Our LAMDA classes provide the opportunity for students to work towards an internationally recognised qualification each year, celebrating their progress and achievements. As they advance through the higher grades, successful results can also earn UCAS tariff points, making LAMDA an excellent pathway for those considering further education and careers in the performing arts.​​

MUSICAL THEATRE: 

Suitable for ages 7+ this course will assess students' ability to:

  • Perform songs from musical theatre repertoire.

  • Act through song, showing emotional and narrative understanding. Interpret character and context.

  • In higher grades, also demonstrate students' knowledge of the material and its background.

ACTING: 

Practical training in stage and screen performance.

  • Perform monologues and duologues from a range of dramatic texts.

  • Create believable and engaging characters through voice, movement, and interpretation.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the text, character, and dramatic context.

  • In higher grades, also demonstrate knowledge of the playwright, performance style, and the wider context of the chosen pieces.
